Article L2141-5 of the French Public Health Code

The two members of the couple or the unmarried woman may consent in writing to the embryos stored being accepted by another couple or another unmarried woman under the conditions set out in article L. 2141-6, including, in the case of the two members of a couple, in the event of the death of one of them.

The two members of the couple or the unmarried woman are informed of the legislative and regulatory provisions relating to the reception of embryos, in particular the provisions of article L. 2143-2 relating to access by persons conceived by medically assisted procreation with a third party donor to non-identifying data and to the identity of the third party donor.

Les deux membres du couple ou la femme non mariée peuvent consentir par écrit à ce que les embryons conservés soient accueillis par un autre couple ou une autre femme non mariée dans les conditions prévues à l’article L. 2141-6, y compris, s’agissant des deux membres d’un couple, en cas de décès de l’un d’eux.

Les deux membres du couple ou la femme non mariée sont informés des dispositions législatives et réglementaires relatives à l’accueil d’embryons, notamment des dispositions de l’article L. 2143-2 relatives à l’accès des personnes conçues par assistance médicale à la procréation avec tiers donneur aux données non identifiantes et à l’identité du tiers donneur.
