Article L2143-7 of the French Labour Code

The names of the union representative(s) are brought to the attention of the employer under conditions determined by decree. They are posted on boards reserved for trade union communications.

A copy of the notice sent to the employer is simultaneously sent to the labour inspector mentioned in article L. 8112-1.

The same procedure is applied in the event of the delegate being replaced or leaving office.

Les noms du ou des délégués syndicaux sont portés à la connaissance de l’employeur dans des conditions déterminées par décret. Ils sont affichés sur des panneaux réservés aux communications syndicales.

La copie de la communication adressée à l’employeur est adressée simultanément à l’agent de contrôle de l’inspection du travail mentionné à l’article L. 8112-1.

La même procédure est appliquée en cas de remplacement ou de cessation de fonctions du délégué.
