The committee referred to in Article L. 2143-6 is composed of :
1° A member of the judiciary, who shall chair it;
2° A member of the administrative courts;
3° Four representatives of the Minister of Justice and the Ministers for Social Action and Health;
4° Four qualified persons chosen for their knowledge or experience in the field of medically assisted procreation or the human and social sciences;
5° Six representatives of associations whose purpose falls within the scope of the Commission.
The difference between the number of women and men on the Commission may not be greater than one.
Each member has one alternate.
In the event of a tie, the Chairman has the casting vote.
Members of the Commission are bound by an obligation of confidentiality.
Any disclosure by a member of the Commission of information about a person or couple who has donated gametes or consented to the reception of their embryos or about a person born as a result of such donations shall be subject to the penalties provided for in Article 511-10 of the French Penal Code.
