Article L2162-6 of the French Public Health Code

As stated in Article 511-25 of the Criminal Code, reproduced below:

“I Carrying out the activities required to receive a human embryo under the conditions set out in article L. 2141-6 of the Public Health Code:

1° Without having been informed of the results of the tests for infectious diseases required in the sixth paragraph of the same article ;

2° Or outside an establishment authorised in accordance with the provisions of the seventh paragraph of the same article, is punishable by two years’ imprisonment and a fine of 30,000 euros.

II It is punishable by the same penalties to divulge nominative information enabling both the couple who gave up the embryo and the couple who received it to be identified. “

Comme il est dit à l’article 511-25 du code pénal ci-après reproduit :

” I Le fait d’exercer les activités nécessaires à l’accueil d’un embryon humain dans les conditions fixées à l’article L. 2141-6 du code de la santé publique :

1° Sans avoir pris connaissance des résultats des tests de dépistage des maladies infectieuses exigés au sixième alinéa du même article ;

2° Ou en dehors d’un établissement autorisé conformément aux dispositions du septième alinéa du même article, est puni de deux ans d’emprisonnement et de 30 000 euros d’ amende.

II Est puni des mêmes peines le fait de divulguer une information nominative permettant d’identifier à la fois le couple qui a renoncé à l’embryon et le couple qui l’a accueilli. “
