Article L221-11 of the French Sports Code

A decree specifies the rights and obligations of top-level sportsmen and sportswomen, elite sportsmen and sportswomen, national team sportsmen and sportswomen, and top-level sports referees and judges. It defines in particular:

1° The conditions of access to specialised school, university and vocational training, in conjunction with the State and the regions;

2° Sports and citizenship training procedures;

3° Methods of guidance designed to build an adapted professional project, as well as the training and integration mechanisms that can be mobilised;

4° Participation in events of general interest.

Article L221-11

Un décret précise les droits et obligations des sportifs de haut niveau, des sportifs Espoirs, des sportifs des collectifs nationaux et des arbitres et juges sportifs de haut niveau. Il définit notamment :

1° Les conditions d’accès aux formations scolaires, universitaires et professionnelles aménagées, en lien avec les services de l’Etat et les régions ;

2° Les modalités de la formation sportive et citoyenne ;

3° Les modalités d’orientation destinées à construire un projet professionnel adapté ainsi que les dispositifs de formation et d’insertion pouvant être mobilisés ;

4° La participation à des manifestations d’intérêt général.
