In the event of confirmation, the doctor or midwife may personally perform the termination of pregnancy under the conditions set out in the second paragraph of Article L. 2212-2. If they do not perform the procedure themselves, they will return the woman’s request to the doctor or midwife chosen by her and issue her with a certificate stating that they have complied with articles L. 2212-3 and L. 2212-5.
The director of the health establishment to which a woman applies for admission with a view to a voluntary interruption of pregnancy must obtain and keep for at least one year the certificates proving that she has complied with the consultations prescribed in articles L. 2212-3 to L. 2212-5.
