Article L222-19-1 of the French Sports Code

When the competent delegating federation finds that a lawyer, acting as agent for one of the parties involved in the conclusion of one of the contracts mentioned in the first paragraph of article L. 222-7, has failed to comply with the obligations relating to the content and communication of these contracts and the mandate he has received, it shall inform the President of the Bar Association with which the lawyer is registered, who shall assess the need to initiate disciplinary proceedings under the conditions provided for by the texts governing the legal profession.

Article L222-19-1

Lorsque la fédération délégataire compétente constate qu’un avocat, agissant en qualité de mandataire de l’une des parties intéressées à la conclusion d’un des contrats mentionnés au premier alinéa de l’article L. 222-7, a méconnu les obligations relatives au contenu et à la communication de ces contrats ainsi que du mandat qu’il a reçu, elle en informe le bâtonnier du barreau auquel l’avocat est inscrit qui apprécie la nécessité d’engager des poursuites disciplinaires dans les conditions prévues par les textes qui régissent la profession d’avocat.
