I.- Regardless of their origin, metals resulting from cremation are not treated in the same way as the ashes of the deceased. These metals are recovered by the crematorium operator for transfer, whether free of charge or in return for payment, with a view to appropriate treatment for each of them.

II – Any proceeds from the transfer provided for in I are entered as operating revenue in the budget of the crematorium where the metals were collected. Any such proceeds may only be used for the following purposes:
1° To finance the funeral expenses of persons without sufficient resources, as referred to in article L. 2223-27;

2° To be donated to an association of general interest or a foundation recognised as being in the public interest;

III -The provisions of I and II will appear on any contractual document providing for the cremation of the deceased and will be displayed in the part of the crematoriums open to the public.
IV -A decree of the Council of State will be issued in the form of a decree.
IV-A decree in the Council of State shall specify the conditions for the application of this article.
