The measures provided for in the action plan mentioned in article L. 2224-7-6 are intended to avoid, reduce or eliminate pollution of any kind or to limit its transfer to water resources, without prejudice to the requirements laid down by the Prefect in the areas defined in article L. 1321-2 of the Public Health Code and the rules adopted in application of the provisions of Chapters I and II of Title I of Book II of the legislative part of the Environment Code. They are defined in consultation with local stakeholders concerned by the protection of water resources or whose activities are likely to affect their quality.
These measures include
In particular, these measures consist of:
1° Raising awareness, informing and mobilising local stakeholders to preserve the quality of water resources and assisting them in implementing actions that contribute to this objective;
2° Carrying out any studies required to implement, complete or update the action plan;
3° Monitor the quality of water resources;
4° Supporting and encouraging the agro-ecological transition;
5° Ensuring control of land in order to implement actions designed to protect or restore water resources;
> 6° Setting up development projects to protect and restore water resources;
6° To set up facilities to limit the transfer of pollution to water resources;
7° Signing commitment agreements with the plan’s partners;
8° Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the approach;
Where the action plan concerns a sensitive abstraction point, within the meaning of article L. 211-11-1 of the Environment Code, it also contains proposals for measures that may be made mandatory as part of an action programme drawn up pursuant to 7° of article L. 211-3 of the same code.
