Article L2241-5 of the French Labour Code

The agreement concluded at the end of the negotiations referred to in Article L. 2241-4 specifies :

1° The topics for negotiation and their frequency, so that :

a) At least every four years, the subjects mentioned in 1° to 5° of article L. 2241-1 ;

b) At least every five years the subjects mentioned in 6° and 7° of Article L. 2241-1 ;

c) The subject mentioned in article L. 2241-2 when the conditions mentioned in this article are met;

2° The content of each topic;

3° The timetable and locations of the meetings;

4° The information that the professional employers’ organisations provide to the negotiators on the subjects covered by the negotiations that are about to begin, and the date on which this information is provided;

5° The procedures for monitoring the commitments made by the parties.

The duration of the agreement may not exceed five years.

L’accord conclu à l’issue de la négociation mentionnée à l’article L. 2241-4 précise :

1° Les thèmes des négociations et leur périodicité, de telle sorte que soient négociés :

a) Au moins tous les quatre ans les thèmes mentionnés aux 1° à 5° de l’article L. 2241-1 ;

b) Au moins tous les cinq ans les thèmes mentionnés aux 6° et 7° de l’article L. 2241-1 ;

c) Le thème mentionné à l’article L. 2241-2 lorsque les conditions mentionnées à cet article sont réunies ;

2° Le contenu de chacun des thèmes ;

3° Le calendrier et les lieux des réunions ;

4° Les informations que les organisations professionnelles d’employeurs remettent aux négociateurs sur les thèmes prévus par la négociation qui s’engage et la date de cette remise ;

5° Les modalités selon lesquelles sont suivis les engagements souscrits par les parties.

La durée de l’accord ne peut excéder cinq ans.
