The members of the staff delegation of the Social and Economic Committee are elected from lists drawn up by the trade unions for each category of staff:
– firstly, by the college of blue-collar and white-collar workers ;
– the college of engineers, department heads, technicians, supervisors and similar staff.
In companies with at least five hundred and one employees, engineers, heads of department and administrative, commercial or technical managers have at least one full delegate within the second college, elected under the same conditions.
In addition, in companies, regardless of the number of employees, where the number of engineers, heads of department and administrative, commercial or similar technical managers in terms of classification is at least equal to twenty-five at the time the body is set up or renewed, these categories constitute a third college.
Notwithstanding the previous paragraphs, in establishments or companies electing only one member of the titular staff delegation and one member of the substitute staff delegation, a single electoral college grouping together all the professional categories is set up for each of these elections.
