Article L232-10-2 of the French Sports Code

All athletes, athlete support personnel, sports federations and any body, member or agent of a sports federation shall cooperate with anti-doping organisations that are signatories to the World Anti-Doping Code investigating anti-doping rule violations and shall report to the French Anti-Doping Agency any breach of the provisions of this chapter of which they become aware.

In the event of a breach of these obligations and except where the breach constitutes falsification, the French Anti-Doping Agency may refer the matter to the relevant Federation for the purposes of implementing the disciplinary powers it derives from the disciplinary regulations referred to in article L. 131-8. The Agency shall be informed of the action taken on its referral and may submit observations during the proceedings.

Any body or employee of the National Sports Agency who becomes aware of a breach of the provisions of this chapter shall report it to the French Anti-Doping Agency and shall cooperate with the investigations carried out by the latter.

Tout sportif, tout membre du personnel d’encadrement des sportifs, toute fédération sportive, tout organe, membre ou préposé d’une fédération sportive collabore avec les organisations antidopage signataires du code mondial antidopage enquêtant sur des violations des règles relatives à la lutte contre le dopage et signale à l’Agence française de lutte contre le dopage tout manquement aux dispositions du présent chapitre dont il acquiert la connaissance.

En cas de manquement à ces obligations et sauf le cas où ce manquement constituerait une falsification, l’Agence française de lutte contre le dopage peut saisir la fédération compétente aux fins de mise en œuvre du pouvoir disciplinaire qu’elle tient du règlement disciplinaire mentionné à l’article L. 131-8. L’Agence est informée des suites données à sa saisine et peut présenter des observations au cours de la procédure.

Tout organe ou préposé de l’Agence nationale du sport qui acquiert la connaissance d’un manquement aux dispositions du présent chapitre le signale à l’Agence française de lutte contre le dopage et coopère aux enquêtes menées par celle-ci.
