Article L232-14-3 of the French Sports Code

When the athlete’s consent has been obtained in accordance with the conditions set out in article L. 232-14-2, the testing operations referred to in article L. 232-14-1 may be initiated on the basis of a reasoned decision by the director of the testing department of the French Anti-Doping Agency, with regard to the criteria set out in the same article L. 232-14-1.

Lorsque le consentement du sportif a été recueilli dans les conditions prévues à l’article L. 232-14-2, les opérations de contrôle mentionnées à l’article L. 232-14-1 peuvent être diligentées sur décision motivée du directeur du département des contrôles de l’Agence française de lutte contre le dopage, au regard des critères fixés au même article L. 232-14-1.
