Article L232-16 of the French Sports Code

On the occasion of an international sports event, the French Anti-Doping Agency may:

1° At the request of the international sports organisation responsible for the event, carry out tests at the event site on behalf of this organisation. It may also take additional samples or ask the laboratory responsible for analysing them to carry out additional types of analysis. It informs the international organisation of this;

2° After obtaining the agreement of the competent international body or, failing that, the World Anti-Doping Agency, conduct additional tests at the site of the international sporting event;

3° Conduct tests outside the event site, in coordination with the international body responsible for the event.

These tests are carried out under the conditions set out in articles L. 232-12, L. 232-13-1, L. 232-13-2 and L. 232-14 to L. 232-14-4.

Article L232-16

A l’occasion d’une manifestation sportive internationale, l’Agence française de lutte contre le dopage peut :

1° A la demande de l’organisme sportif international responsable de la manifestation, diligenter des contrôles sur le site de la manifestation pour le compte de cet organisme. Elle peut en outre prélever des échantillons supplémentaires ou demander au laboratoire chargé de les analyser d’effectuer des types d’analyse supplémentaires. Elle en informe l’organisme international ;

2° Après avoir obtenu l’accord de l’organisme international compétent ou, à défaut, de l’Agence mondiale antidopage, diligenter des contrôles additionnels sur le site de la manifestation sportive internationale ;

3° Diligenter des contrôles en dehors du site de la manifestation, en se coordonnant avec l’organisme international responsable de la manifestation.

Ces contrôles sont réalisés dans les conditions prévues aux articles L. 232-12, L. 232-13-1, L. 232-13-2 et L. 232-14 à L. 232-14-4.
