Article L2326-4 of the French Public Health Code

The creation, extension or transformation of the private establishments and services mentioned in article L. 2324-1 without the authorisation mentioned in the first and third paragraphs of article L. 2324-1 is punishable by three months’ imprisonment and a fine of €3,750.

Natural persons guilty of the offence referred to in the previous paragraph are also liable to the following additional penalties:

1° Temporary or permanent disqualification from running any establishment or service mentioned in article L. 2324-1 ;

2° Temporary or permanent closure of the establishments or services.

Article L2326-4

La création, l’extension ou la transformation des établissements et services privés mentionnés à l’article L. 2324-1 sans l’autorisation mentionnée aux alinéas premier et troisième de l’article L. 2324-1 est punie de trois mois d’emprisonnement et de 3 750 euros d’amende.

Les personnes physiques coupables de l’infraction mentionnée à l’alinéa précédent encourent également les peines complémentaires suivantes :

1° L’interdiction, temporaire ou définitive, de diriger tout établissement ou service mentionnés à l’article L. 2324-1 ;

2° La fermeture, temporaire ou définitive, des établissements ou services.
