Article L2343-8 of the French Labour Code

The European Works Council adopts rules of procedure which set out its operating procedures.

These rules of procedure may provide for consideration to be given to the repercussions on the European Works Council of changes in the structure or size of the Community-scale undertaking or group of undertakings. Such changes may be discussed at the annual meeting of the committee.

Le comité d’entreprise européen adopte un règlement intérieur qui fixe ses modalités de fonctionnement.

Ce règlement intérieur peut organiser la prise en compte des répercussions, sur le comité d’entreprise européen, des changements intervenus dans la structure ou la dimension de l’entreprise ou du groupe d’entreprises de dimension communautaire. L’examen de tels changements peut avoir lieu à l’occasion de la réunion annuelle du comité.
