Article L2511-10 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Subject to the provisions of this chapter, the rules relating to the deliberations and operation of municipal councils and the rules that apply to municipal councils in the exercise of their powers shall apply to arrondissement councils in the exercise of their powers as defined in this chapter.

Sous réserve des dispositions du présent chapitre, les règles relatives aux délibérations et au fonctionnement des conseils municipaux ainsi que les règles qui s’imposent aux conseils municipaux dans l’exercice de leurs compétences s’appliquent aux conseils d’arrondissement pour l’exercice de leurs attributions définies au présent chapitre.
