Article L2511-32 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The acts of the borough mayor acting as an authority of the State are subject to the same rules as the acts of the mayor acting in the same capacity.

The acts of the borough mayor acting on behalf of the municipality are subject to the same rules as the acts of the mayor of the municipality acting in the same capacity. However, when these acts must be sent to the representative of the State in the département under the provisions of articles L. 2131-1 to L. 2131-5, the provisions of article L. 2511-23 are applicable.

Les actes du maire d’arrondissement agissant comme autorité de l’Etat sont soumis aux mêmes règles que les actes du maire agissant en la même qualité.

Les actes du maire d’arrondissement agissant au nom de la commune sont soumis aux mêmes règles que les actes du maire de la commune agissant en la même qualité. Toutefois, lorsque ces actes doivent être transmis au représentant de l’Etat dans le département en vertu des dispositions des articles L. 2131-1 à L. 2131-5, les dispositions de l’article L. 2511-23 sont applicables.
