Article L311-36 of the French Insurance Code

The decision of the college of resolution ordering the transfer of the portfolio of insurance contracts, operations or subscription forms for contracts or regulations to a bridge institution is published in the Journal officiel. This decision releases the person subject to the resolution procedure from all commitments to policyholders, subscribers, participating members, members, employers and subscribing legal entities in respect of the contracts and regulations transferred.

La décision du collège de résolution qui prononce le transfert du portefeuille de contrats d’assurance, d’opérations ou de bulletins d’adhésion à des contrats ou règlements au profit d’un établissement-relais est publiée au Journal officiel. Cette décision libère la personne soumise à la procédure de résolution de tout engagement envers les assurés, souscripteurs, membres participants, adhérents, employeurs, personnes morales souscriptrices, des contrats et règlements transférés.
