A structured deposit is a deposit that is repayable in full at maturity with interest or a premium determined according to a formula involving factors such as:
1° An index or a combination of indices, excluding variable-rate deposits whose profitability is directly linked to changes in an interest-rate index ;
2° A financial instrument, a unit mentioned in Article L. 229-7 of the Environment Code or a combination of these financial instruments or units;
3° A commodity or combination of commodities or other physical or non-physical assets that are not fungible; or
4° An exchange rate or a combination of exchange rates.
