The contract accepted by the borrower only becomes perfect on the twofold condition that the borrower has not exercised his right of withdrawal and that the creditor has informed the borrower of his decision to grant the credit within a period of seven days. Approval of the borrower is deemed to have been refused if, on expiry of this period, the borrower has not been informed of the decision to grant the credit. Approval of the borrower’s person that is brought to the borrower’s attention after the expiry of this period nevertheless remains valid if the borrower still intends to benefit from the credit.
The provision of funds beyond the seven-day period referred to in article L. 312-25 constitutes approval of the borrower by the lender.
