If the offer referred to in Article L. 313-24 has been issued, the lender shall inform the borrower, on paper or any other durable medium, of its decision to accept or reject the offer and, where applicable, send the borrower the amended offer referred to in Article L. 313-27, within ten working days of receipt of the request for substitution.
If the borrower makes use of the right to cancel the insurance contract pursuant to the first paragraph of Article L. 113-12-2 of the Insurance Code, or the third paragraph of Article L. 221-10 of the Mutual Code, the lender shall notify the borrower of its decision to accept or refuse within ten working days of receipt of another insurance contract.
In the event of acceptance, the lender shall amend the credit agreement by means of a rider within ten working days of receiving the request for substitution, in accordance with Article L. 313-39 mentioning, in particular, the new annual percentage rate calculated in accordance with articles L. 314-1 to L. 314-4, based on the information transmitted by the delegated insurer under the conditions set out in the second paragraph of Article L. 313-28.
Where the endorsement includes one or more figures on the cost of insurance, this cost is expressed in accordance with the methods defined in article L. 313-8.
The lender may not charge the borrower any additional fees for issuing this rider.
