Article L313-34 of the French Consumer Code

The sending of the offer obliges the lender to maintain the conditions it indicates for a minimum period of thirty days from its receipt by the borrower.

The offer is subject to acceptance by the borrower and the guarantors, natural persons, declared. The borrower and the guarantors may not accept the offer until ten days after they have received it. Acceptance is given by letter, as evidenced by the postmark of the postal operator, or by any other means agreed between the parties that provides certainty as to the date of acceptance by the borrower.

L’envoi de l’offre oblige le prêteur à maintenir les conditions qu’elle indique pendant une durée minimale de trente jours à compter de sa réception par l’emprunteur.


L’offre est soumise à l’acceptation de l’emprunteur et des cautions, personnes physiques, déclarées. L’emprunteur et les cautions ne peuvent accepter l’offre que dix jours après qu’ils l’ont reçue. L’acceptation est donnée par lettre, le cachet de l’opérateur postal faisant foi, ou selon tout autre moyen convenu entre les parties de nature à rendre certaine la date de l’acceptation par l’emprunteur.
