Article L313-58 of the French Consumer Code

The sending of the offer obliges the lessor to maintain the conditions it indicates for a minimum period of thirty days from receipt by the lessee.

The offer is subject to acceptance by the lessee, who may not accept it until ten days after receiving it. Acceptance is notified by letter, as evidenced by the postal operator’s postmark, or by any other electronic means agreed between the parties that provides certainty as to the date of acceptance by the borrower.

L’envoi de l’offre oblige le bailleur à maintenir les conditions qu’elle indique pendant une durée minimale de trente jours à compter de sa réception par le preneur.


L’offre est soumise à l’acceptation du preneur qui ne peut accepter l’offre que dix jours après qu’il l’a reçue. L’acceptation est notifiée par lettre, le cachet de l’opérateur postal faisant foi, ou selon tout autre moyen dématérialisé convenu entre les parties de nature à rendre certaine la date de l’acceptation par l’emprunteur.
