Article L3133-3 of the French Public Health Code

Reservists must obtain their employer’s agreement before any absence.

The employer may only object to the Reservist’s absence if it is necessary for the continued production of goods and services or for the continuity of the public service.

No dismissal or professional downgrading, no disciplinary sanction may be pronounced against a reservist because of absences resulting from the application of Chapter II of this Title.

Le réserviste est tenu de requérir l’accord de son employeur avant toute absence.

L’employeur ne peut s’opposer à l’absence du réserviste qu’en cas de nécessité inhérente à la poursuite de la production de biens et de services ou à la continuité du service public.

Aucun licenciement ou déclassement professionnel, aucune sanction disciplinaire ne peuvent être prononcés à l’encontre du réserviste en raison des absences résultant de l’application du chapitre II du présent titre.
