Article L3133-2 of the French Public Health Code

The National Public Health Agency shall enter into a written secondment agreement with the reservist referred to in the first paragraph ofArticle L. 3133-1 and with each of his/her employers. Article L3133-3 of the French Public Health Code

Reservists must obtain their employer’s agreement before any absence. The employer may only object to the Reservist’s absence if it is necessary for the continued production of goods and services or for the continuity of the public service. No dismissal or professional downgrading, no disciplinary sanction may be pronounced against a reservist because of absences resulting from the application of Chapter II of this Title.
