Article L3133-6 of the French Public Health Code

Articles 11 and 11 bis A of law no. 83-634 of 13th July 1983 on the rights and obligations of civil servants are applicable to reservists during the periods of employment or training for which they have been called up.

The reservist who suffers damage during periods of employment or training in the reserve and, in the event of death, his heirs are entitled, at the expense of the State, to full compensation for the damage suffered, except in the event of damage attributable to a personal act detachable from the service.

Les articles 11 et 11 bis A de la loi n° 83-634 du 13 juillet 1983 portant droits et obligations des fonctionnaires sont applicables aux réservistes pendant les périodes d’emploi ou de formation pour lesquelles ils ont été appelés.

Le réserviste victime de dommages subis pendant les périodes d’emploi ou de formation dans la réserve et, en cas de décès, ses ayants droit ont droit, à la charge de l’Etat, à la réparation intégrale du préjudice subi, sauf en cas de dommage imputable à un fait personnel détachable du service.
