Article L3142-120 of the French Labour Code

In the absence of a stipulation in the agreement referred to in article L. 3142-117, the annual paid leave due to the employee in excess of twenty-four working days may be carried over, at his request, until the start of the leave, under the conditions set out in this paragraph.

Such paid leave may be accumulated over a maximum of six years.

A défaut de stipulation dans la convention ou l’accord mentionné à l’article L. 3142-117, les congés payés annuels dus au salarié en plus de vingt-quatre jours ouvrables peuvent être reportés, à sa demande, jusqu’au départ en congé, dans les conditions prévues au présent paragraphe.

Le cumul de ces congés payés porte au maximum sur six années.
