Leave is granted each year, at the employee’s request, regardless of age:
1° To any employee appointed to sit on a voluntary basis on the administrative or management body of an association governed by the law of 1st July 1901 relating to the contract of association or entered in the register of associations in application of the local civil code applicable in the departments of Bas-Rhin, Haut-Rhin and Moselle, which has been registered for at least three years and all of whose activities are mentioned in b of 1 of article 200 of the General Tax Code, and to any employee performing managerial or supervisory duties on a voluntary basis within such an association;
2° Any employee who is a member of a citizens’ council whose membership has been recognised by the representative of the State in the département under the conditions set out inarticle 7 of law no. 2014-173 of 21 February 2014 on town planning and urban cohesion, to sit on the internal bodies of the citizens’ council and participate in the steering bodies of the town contract, including those relating to urban renewal projects;
3° Any person, other than a director, who provides a mutual association, union or federation with personal assistance on a voluntary basis, outside of any employment contract, as part of a mandate for which they have been statutorily appointed or elected.
This leave may be split into half-days.
