Article L322-27 of the French Insurance Code

The formation of agricultural mutual insurance and reinsurance companies or funds remains governed by article L. 771-1 of the French Rural and Maritime Fishing Code.

A decree of the Conseil d’Etat shall lay down the terms and conditions for the application of this article and shall define the operations referred to in article L. 310-1 which they may be authorised to carry out; their membership may be limited to persons exercising an agricultural profession or a profession related to agriculture, or may be extended to all other categories of natural or legal persons provided for in their articles of association.

Article L322-27

Les sociétés ou caisses d’assurances et de réassurances mutuelles agricoles restent régies pour leur constitution par l’article L. 771-1 code rural et de la pêche maritime.

Un décret en Conseil d’Etat fixe les modalités d’application du présent article et définit celles des opérations mentionnées à l’article L. 310-1 qu’elles peuvent être autorisées à pratiquer ; leur sociétariat peut être limité aux personnes exerçant une profession agricole ou connexe à l’agriculture, ou s’étendre à toutes autres catégories de personnes physiques ou morales prévues par leurs statuts.
