Article L3252-11 of the French Labour Code

The parties may be represented by :

1° A lawyer ;

2° A ministerial officer of the jurisdiction, who is exempt from producing a power of attorney;

3° An agent of their choice with power of attorney.

If this agent represents the distraining creditor, his power of attorney must be specific to the case for which he represents his principal.

Les parties peuvent se faire représenter par :

2° Un officier ministériel du ressort, lequel est dispensé de produire une procuration ;

3° Un mandataire de leur choix muni d’une procuration.

Si ce mandataire représente le créancier saisissant, sa procuration doit être spéciale à l’affaire pour laquelle il représente son mandant.
