Organisers of profit-making sporting events may be required to provide a security service under the conditions set out in article L. 211-11 of the French Internal Security Code.
In order to contribute to the safety of sporting events, the organisers of these events may refuse or cancel the issue of admission tickets to these events or refuse access to persons who have contravened or are contravening the provisions of the general conditions of sale or the internal regulations relating to the safety of these events. This refusal to issue an admission ticket may not be made more than three months after the facts have been established by the organisers of these events.
To this end, the organisers may set up automated processing of personal data relating to the breaches set out in the penultimate paragraph of this article, in accordance with the conditions laid down by decree in the Conseil d’Etat issued after a reasoned and published opinion from the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés.
