Article L341-9 of the French Consumer Code

A lender who has not complied with the formalities prescribed in the last paragraph of article L. 312-92 and article L. 312-93 may not claim from the borrower the sums corresponding to the interest and costs of any kind applicable in respect of the overrun referred to in these articles.

Article L341-9

Le prêteur qui n’a pas respecté les formalités prescrites au dernier alinéa de l’article L. 312-92 et à l’article L. 312-93 ne peut réclamer à l’emprunteur les sommes correspondant aux intérêts et frais de toute nature applicables au titre du dépassement mentionné à ces articles.
