Article L342-5 of the French Consumer Code

A credit intermediary who collects a sum of money in connection with one of the transactions mentioned in article L. 322-1 is punishable by one year’s imprisonment and a fine of 300,000 euros.
The court may also order, at the expense of the convicted person, the publication of all or part of the judgment in the newspapers it determines, without the cost of this publication exceeding the amount of the fine incurred.

Article L342-5

Le fait pour l’intermédiaire de crédit de percevoir une somme d’argent à l’occasion d’une des opérations mentionnées à l’article L. 322-1 est puni d’un emprisonnement d’un an et d’une amende de 300 000 euros.
Le tribunal peut en outre ordonner, aux frais du condamné, la publication intégrale ou par extraits du jugement dans les journaux qu’il fixe, sans que le coût de cette publication puisse excéder le montant de l’amende encourue.
