In the case referred to in the fourth paragraph of Article L. 356-2, the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution shall verify whether the insurance and reinsurance undertakings are subject by the supervisory authority of the ultimate parent undertaking whose head office is outside the European Union to supervision equivalent to that to which those undertakings are subject at group level pursuant to the provisions of Sections II, III, IV, V and VI of this Chapter.
If this is the case, the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution may exercise sub-group supervision under the same conditions as those set out in Articles L. 356-4 and L. 356-5 for groups whose ultimate parent is located in the European Union.
Articles L. 356-7-1 to L. 356-10-1 and I of Article L. 356-21 apply to cooperation with the supervisory authorities of third countries.
