Le budget de la métropole de Lyon est l’acte par lequel sont prévues et autorisées les recettes et les dépenses annuelles de la collectivité. Le budget voté doit être équilibré en dépenses et en recettes.

Le budget de la métropole de Lyon est établi en section de fonctionnement et en section d’investissement, tant en recettes qu’en dépenses. Certaines interventions, activités ou services sont individualisés au sein de budgets annexes.
