Article L381-4 of the French Insurance Code

The provisions of Titles I, III, IV and VI of Book I and of Chapter I of Title IV of Book IV applicable to life assurance or capitalisation undertakings are applicable to contracts underwritten by supplementary occupational pension funds. For the application of these provisions, supplementary occupational pension funds are treated in the same way as life assurance or capitalisation undertakings.

Les dispositions des titres Ier, III, IV et VI du livre Ier et du chapitre Ier du titre IV du livre IV applicables aux entreprises d’assurance sur la vie ou de capitalisation sont applicables aux contrats souscrits par les fonds de retraite professionnelle supplémentaire. Pour l’application de ces dispositions, les fonds de retraite professionnelle supplémentaire sont assimilés à des entreprises d’assurance sur la vie ou de capitalisation.
