Article L4111-1-1 of the French Public Health Code

As part of their training and by way of derogation from 1° of article L. 4111-1, persons enrolled in the third cycle of medical studies in France may practise the profession of doctor if they meet the conditions laid down by decree in the Conseil d’Etat relating to the duration, conditions and places of practice as well as the theoretical and practical courses that must be validated.

Dans le cadre de leur formation et par dérogation au 1° de l’article L. 4111-1, peuvent exercer la profession de médecin les personnes inscrites en troisième cycle des études de médecine en France et remplissant des conditions déterminées par décret en Conseil d’Etat et portant sur la durée, les conditions et les lieux d’exercice ainsi que sur les enseignements théoriques et pratiques devant être validés.
