Article L4125-2 of the French Public Health Code

The offices of president, vice-president, secretary general or treasurer of a conseil de l’ordre are incompatible with :

1° any of the corresponding functions of a professional association ;

2° Any of these functions in another council.

For the order of midwives, these incompatibilities concern the members of the bureau of the departmental councils and one of the corresponding functions of the national council.

Article L4125-2

Les fonctions de président, de vice-président, de secrétaire général, ou de trésorier d’un conseil de l’ordre sont incompatibles avec :

1° L’une quelconque des fonctions correspondantes d’un syndicat professionnel ;

2° L’une quelconque de ces fonctions dans un autre conseil.

Pour l’ordre des sages-femmes, ces incompatibilités concernent les membres du bureau des conseils départementaux et l’une des fonctions correspondantes du Conseil national.
