The Regional Council, when one fifth of its members so request, shall deliberate on the creation of a mission of information and evaluation, tasked with gathering information on a matter of regional interest or evaluating a regional public service. The same regional councillor may not associate himself with such a request more than once a year.
No mission may be created from 1 January of the calendar year preceding the year in which the regional councils are renewed.
The rules of procedure shall lay down the rules for submitting and examining the request for the establishment of the task force, its operating procedures, the procedures for its composition in compliance with the principle of proportional representation, the duration of the task force, which may not exceed six months from the date of the resolution establishing it, and the conditions under which it shall submit its report to the members of the regional council.
