Where the personal residence of the chairman of the regional council is outside the conurbation comprising the commune that is the capital of the region and the region’s estate includes company accommodation, the regional council may determine by deliberation the terms and conditions under which this accommodation is allocated to him or her.
When the region’s estate does not include such accommodation, the regional council may, by deliberation, decide to grant the president a subsistence allowance, within the limit of the daily allowances allocated for this purpose to State civil servants, in respect of the expenses he has incurred in order to be present at the region’s capital to manage the region’s affairs.
