Article L421-6 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

On a proposal from the Autorité des marchés financiers, the Minister responsible for the economy may withdraw recognition from a regulated market in any of the following cases:

1° If the market undertaking does not make use of it within twelve months, if it expressly renounces it or if the market has ceased to operate for six months;

2° If the market undertaking has obtained the authorisation by making false declarations or by any other irregular means;

3° If the regulated market no longer meets the conditions on which recognition was granted;

4° If the market undertaking has seriously and repeatedly infringed the provisions applicable to it.

Article L421-6

Sur proposition de l’Autorité des marchés financiers, le ministre chargé de l’économie peut retirer la reconnaissance à un marché réglementé dans l’un ou l’autre des cas suivants :

1° Si l’entreprise de marché n’en fait pas usage dans un délai de douze mois, si elle y renonce expressément ou si le marché a cessé de fonctionner depuis six mois ;

2° Si l’entreprise de marché l’a obtenue par de fausses déclarations ou par tout autre moyen irrégulier ;

3° Si le marché réglementé ne remplit plus les conditions auxquelles la reconnaissance a été subordonnée ;

4° Si l’entreprise de marché a gravement et de manière répétée enfreint les dispositions qui lui sont applicables.
