Subject to the provisions of article L. 4061-1, persons who have obtained the evidence of formal qualifications or authorisation required to practise the profession of pharmacist prior to their entry into the profession, and persons who have obtained their evidence of formal qualifications less than three years previously, are required to register with the department or body designated for this purpose by the Minister responsible for health.
The registration of these persons is carried out after verification of the supporting documents attesting to their identity and their evidence of formal qualifications or authorisation. They must inform the same department or body of any change of residence or professional situation.
For people who have practised as pharmacists, the obligation to inform of any change of residence is maintained for a period of three years after they cease their activity.
The registration procedure is free of charge.
A list of this profession shall be drawn up for each département by the competent State department or the body designated for this purpose by the State, and made available to the public.
Detailed rules for the application of this article shall be laid down by decree.
