Article L425-2 of the French Sports Code

In addition to the officers and agents of the judicial police acting within the framework of the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the officers and agents of New Caledonia responsible for applying these regulations and sworn under the conditions set out in II of article 809 of the Code of Criminal Procedure are authorised to carry out the checks provided for in deliberation no. 202 of 22 August 2006 of the Congress of New Caledonia relating to the protection of the health of sportsmen and women and the fight against doping and to the checks carried out for the application of this chapter, as well as to investigate and record breaches of this deliberation for the training sessions, events and sports competitions mentioned in the same regulations or provided for in articles L. 230-2 and L. 230-3, the New Caledonian agents responsible for applying these regulations and sworn in under the conditions set out in II of article 809 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

These agents are bound by professional secrecy under the conditions set out in article 226-13 of the Penal Code.

Article L425-2

Outre les officiers et agents de police judiciaire agissant dans le cadre des dispositions du code de procédure pénale, sont habilités à procéder aux contrôles prévus par la délibération n° 202 du 22 août 2006 du congrès de la Nouvelle-Calédonie relative à la protection de la santé des sportifs et à la lutte contre le dopage et aux contrôles réalisés pour l’application du présent chapitre, ainsi qu’à rechercher et constater les infractions à cette délibération pour les entraînements, manifestations et compétitions sportives mentionnés par la même réglementation ou prévus par les articles L. 230-2 et L. 230-3, les agents de la Nouvelle-Calédonie chargés d’appliquer cette réglementation et assermentés dans les conditions fixées au II de l’article 809 du code de procédure pénale.

Ces agents sont tenus au secret professionnel, dans les conditions prévues à l’article 226-13 du code pénal.
