Article L425-4-1 of the French Sports Code

Testing under New Caledonian regulations governing the protection of athletes’ health and the fight against doping, as well as under this chapter, shall be conducted, after the athlete has been notified of the test, either :

1° By the person responsible for taking the sample ;

2° By a person designated by the person responsible for taking the sample.

When an athlete is not subject to whereabouts requirements and does not train at a fixed location, notification may be sent to him or her by any means that guarantees its origin and receipt.

Article L425-4-1

Les contrôles prévus par la réglementation édictée par la Nouvelle-Calédonie en matière de protection de la santé des sportifs et de lutte contre le dopage ainsi qu’au titre du présent chapitre sont réalisés, après notification du contrôle au sportif, soit :

1° Par la personne chargée de procéder au prélèvement ;

2° Par une personne désignée par la personne chargée de procéder au prélèvement.

Lorsqu’un sportif n’est pas soumis aux obligations de localisation et ne s’entraîne pas dans un lieu fixe, la notification peut lui être adressée par tout moyen permettant de garantir son origine et sa réception.
