Article L4251-8 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

I. – For the implementation of the outline plan, the region may conclude an agreement with one or more public establishments for inter-municipal cooperation with their own tax status, a territorial and rural balance centre or a community with special status.

This agreement specifies the conditions for applying the outline plan to the territory concerned.

II. – The region shall provide the State representative, at his request, with all the information relating to the implementation of the plan that is necessary for him to carry out the analyses, assessments, evaluations, notifications, reports and other documents provided for by national or Community provisions as well as by international conventions.

Article L4251-8

I. – Pour la mise en œuvre du schéma, la région peut conclure une convention avec un ou plusieurs établissements publics de coopération intercommunale à fiscalité propre, un pôle d’équilibre territorial et rural ou une collectivité à statut particulier.

Cette convention précise les conditions d’application du schéma au territoire concerné.

II. – La région communique au représentant de l’Etat, à sa demande, toutes les informations relatives à la mise en œuvre du schéma qui lui sont nécessaires pour réaliser les analyses, bilans, évaluations, notifications, rapports et autres documents prévus par des dispositions nationales ou communautaires ainsi que par des conventions internationales.
