Article L426-15 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The expiry date of the temporary residence permit issued under the conditions defined in articles L. 426-12 and L. 426-13 may not be later than that of the temporary residence permit issued, pursuant to article L. 426-11, to a foreign national holding long-term resident – EU status in another European Union Member State.

La date d’expiration de la carte de séjour temporaire délivrée dans les conditions définies aux articles L. 426-12 et L. 426-13 ne peut être postérieure à celle de la carte de séjour temporaire délivrée, en application de l’article L. 426-11, à l’étranger titulaire du statut de résident de longue durée – UE dans un autre Etat membre de l’Union européenne.
