Article L432-4-2 of the French Insurance Code

When the Finance Bill for the year is presented, the Government sends the standing finance committees of the National Assembly and the Senate a report on all the guarantees granted in the energy sector and the transactions carried out on behalf of the State by the body mentioned in the first paragraph of Article L. 432-2.

This report includes a detailed list of operations that have benefited from the State guarantee in the energy sector, broken down by type of operation mentioned in the same article L. 432-2 and by type of resource. It specifies the financial volumes committed and the duration of the guarantees granted, the companies that are direct or indirect beneficiaries, the countries in which the operations take place and their main social and environmental impacts as well as, where applicable, the measures aimed at minimising, mitigating or correcting these impacts.

Article L432-4-2

A l’occasion de la présentation du projet de loi de finances de l’année, le Gouvernement transmet aux commissions permanentes chargées des finances de l’Assemblée nationale et du Sénat un rapport sur l’état de l’ensemble des garanties octroyées dans le domaine de l’énergie et les opérations effectuées pour le compte de l’Etat par l’organisme mentionné au premier alinéa de l’article L. 432-2.

Ce rapport comprend la liste détaillée des opérations ayant bénéficié de la garantie de l’Etat dans le domaine de l’énergie, réparties par type d’opérations mentionnées au même article L. 432-2 et par type de ressources. Il précise les volumes financiers engagés et la durée des garanties octroyées, les entreprises directement ou indirectement bénéficiaires, les pays dans lesquels ont lieu les opérations et leurs principaux impacts sociaux et environnementaux ainsi que, le cas échéant, les mesures visant à réduire au minimum, à atténuer ou à corriger ces impacts.
