It is prohibited:
1° To issue a protected designation of origin, a protected geographical indication or a traditional speciality guaranteed without meeting the conditions laid down in article L. 642-3 du code rural et de la pêche maritime;
2° To issue a protected designation of origin, a protected geographical indication or a traditional speciality guaranteed which has not been the subject of the approval provided for respectively in articles L. 641-10, L. 641-11 and L. 641-12 of the French Rural and Maritime Fishing Code;
3° Fraudulently using or attempting to use a protected designation of origin, a protected geographical indication or a traditional speciality guaranteed;
4° Affixing or causing to appear, by addition, deletion or by any alteration whatsoever, on products, natural or manufactured, offered for sale or intended to be offered for sale, a protected designation of origin, a protected geographical indication or a traditional speciality guaranteed knowing them to be inaccurate;
5° Using a method of presentation that leads to the belief or is likely to lead to the belief that a product benefits from a protected designation of origin, a protected geographical indication or a traditional speciality guaranteed;
6° Leading to the belief or attempting to lead to the belief that a product with a traditional speciality guaranteed, a protected designation of origin or a protected geographical indication is guaranteed by the State or a public body.
