The Association of Physiotherapists ensures that the principles of morality, probity and competence essential to the practice of physiotherapy are upheld and that all its members observe their professional rights, duties and obligations, as well as the rules laid down in the Code of Ethics provided for in article L. 4321-21. It helps to promote public health and the quality of care.
It defends the honour and independence of the profession of masseur-physiotherapist.
It may organise any mutual aid work for the benefit of its members and their beneficiaries.
It may be consulted by the Minister for Health, particularly on matters relating to the practice of the profession of masseur-physiotherapist.
It carries out its mission through the intermediary of the departmental or interdepartmental councils, the regional or interregional councils and the national council of the Order.
